Homilies for 3rd Sunday of Easter, Year A

Two homilies have been posted this week, one on the gospel, titled "Meeting Jesus in the Stranger" and another on the epistle, titled "Our Time of Exile." If you have any insight on either homily, that you think will be of help to those who read or preach this homilies, please feel free to share them here. You may also ask a question and anyone in the group can help answer it. Shalom!

Dear Father, Thank you for the clear and wonderful insights on Homilies for 2nd sunday of easter. How true that we as Christians must undergo trials and temptations in life. It is a must for us to know that trial come from God to strengthen us and temptation comes from the evil one to tear us down. I have learned over the years that both comes at any moment, when it does I fix my eyes to heaven ans ask one simple question. "Lord, is this of you or not of you?" Knowing the the Holy Spirit will not lie and will help us discern the test. If it is of God accept it, and if not reject it. Thakns Father and keep them coming.
