The homily beautifully brings out the role of Jesus, the Church and the individual. It could possibly be enhanced if you connected it with the first reading. We notice that in the 1st reading and the gospel Elijah (with God's grace) and Jesus have respectively just performed great miracles. Yet when difficulties arise Elijah and the Disciples fear for their lives. But in each case God intervenes and renews their trust and faith.

It's not always been pure Munachi lately, I think. But keep at it. There are gems to be found.
